From a young age, Mahmood has been immersed in a world of vibrant colors and dynamic forms, having been inspired by the captivating European street art he saw at the age of 10. Over time, he developed a unique style that blends traditional motifs with modern techniques, using a variety of materials including spray paints, acrylics, screen printing, stencils, collage and digital tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Procreate.

A testament to his diverse influences, Mahmood's work echoes the styles of renowned artists like Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein. He draws inspiration from their ability to reinterpret popular imagery while preserving the true essence of the subject, a principle he strives to incorporate in his own work. Mahmood's commitment to his heritage is evident in his continuous exploration and refinement of traditional patterns and backgrounds.

He is currently deepening his knowledge of Arabic and Islamic calligraphy, aiming to infuse his art with an even stronger emphasis on traditional Bahraini culture. Mahmood lives by the words of Pablo Picasso, who once said, "Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up." He has managed to keep the curiosity and creativity of his childhood alive, channeling these qualities into his artwork that captivates and inspires audiences with its cultural richness and aesthetic appeal.
